Marc Giulianotti earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego in 1995 and his Masters in Business Administration from San Diego State University in 2001. Marc joined the Torrey Pines Institute as a Research Associate in 1995 and his research focused on design of novel combinatorial libraries. He held this position until 2001 and then became the Business Development Manager for Mixture Sciences, Inc., a Torrey Pines spin-off company. Marc was tapped as Directory of Chemistry Operations for the Torrey Pines Institute's Florida base in June 2007.

Research Focus

Marc Giulianotti directs a team of scientists that develops novel chemistry methods, including combinatorial and computation chemistry, for rapidly identifying lead compounds and clinical candidates for a variety of indications such as pain management, cancer, central nervous system disorders, and HIV/AIDS.
